When you place an order (CV correction, cover letter, coaching), we collect your first name, last name, and email address, as well as the documents you send us.

When you use our free tools (ATS Checker, CV Job Match), your CV is processed to perform the analysis and may be retained for up to 12 months for quality and support purposes.

Your documents are used solely to provide the requested service. They are never shared, sold, or used to train artificial intelligence models.

When you use our free ATS Checker or order the full report, the text of your CV, as extracted from your file, is sent to LanguageTool (api.languagetool.org), a third-party spell and grammar checking service hosted in Germany, in order to detect spelling and grammar mistakes. According to its publisher, the texts sent to its API are not stored (publisher's page).

Before sending, we remove email addresses, phone numbers and web links from this text. The other information in your CV (name, address, experience) remains in the text sent.

If you ask us to email your report from the results page, we send a summary of your analysis to the email address found in your CV: you cannot enter a different one. This is a one-off email and does not subscribe you to anything.

Order data is retained for 3 years from the date of the transaction, in accordance with French accounting regulations. Documents submitted for correction are deleted within 30 days of delivery. CV analyses from our free tools are retained for up to 12 months.

If you apply to a job offer through one of our client organizations' career pages, your application data (CV, cover letter, contact details) is retained for up to 24 months, unless you are hired, in which case the organization may retain your file as part of its employment records.

This site uses analytics cookies (Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager) and advertising cookies (Google AdSense) to measure audience and display contextual ads. These cookies are only set after your consent, collected via the banner shown on your first visit.

Under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, port, and object to the processing of your personal data.

To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@cvsansfaute.fr. We respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority in your country of residence.

This policy is governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and in the absence of an amicable resolution, the French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
